its been a while...

... since i last updated my blog. aside the 2 videos i posted up... also the Grey's Anatomy post... it HAD been a while.

well, the reason for all these would be that i have been staying in Cyberia for the past 3 weeks because my car was in the workshop. only till yesterday that i got a call from the mechanic that my car was ready. and yup, will be having my car again... with new bumpers, bonnet, radiator, headlamps, front grille and other minuscule replacements. will be collecting my car tomorrow afternoon after lunch. cant wait to see what they had done with it. i actually had a dream and my car had the standard front grille on it. hmmm... though i told them that the front grille can still be used again... lets see how true was the dream. hehe.

3 weeks in Cyberia brought back fond memories when i was still staying at this place. the late nights, hanging out around Cyber, etc. come on, i have been going to college even when i dont have classes!! haha! well, would just like to thank Jo Ann and Timothy for accepting me into their house for this 3 weeks. deeply appreciate everything you guys did!... the CL footy nites, talking nonsense times, late nite maggi sessions, etc... THANK YOU GUYS!! it was memorable!

speaking about weeks... i have only 2 and a half weeks left in college!! wooooohooooo!! sounds crazy and the best part... my final project aint completed! i can put it as 75% completed. the deadline would be on the 2nd week of May. so friends and foes... wish me luck!... and all the best! hehehe.

life had been treating me pretty fairly. ups and downs... i guess i can say that God is fair. talking about God... i was at church!! yes, friends.. laugh on. lol. went to church for Easter Thursday & Friday. was my first time experiencing Easter. learnt alot too. i even kissed the Cross. come on come on... give it up for me! hehe. and Easter is celebrated because it was the day when Jesus died. crucified on the cross. and the last thing he said...

saturday night... LUNA BAR. late for 3 mins and we were forced to pay cover charge. wheres the leniency in this country?!??! waited for a quite a while for the rest to arrive. Nik, Jo Ann and me were tehre at 9.33pm... cover starts at 9.30pm! dammit... this sure thought me a lesson about punctuality! some shit came up but finally decides to open a bottle and bring 6 buggers in. max is 5 peeps... again... wheres the leniency man! sigh...

oh wait... we were conned by the Ampang-ians... Jacque & D'Zul. PKM... suddenly appeared at Luna... not from the lift... from INSIDE!! dammit...! they were there early man! "how could this happen to me??!!??!!?" *LoL*

more shit happened after Luna... we went to Thai Club.. i dont know why, but i found myself walking there from Luna. my lobster was not feeling well... and wanted to let out. so... i sat her down somehwere outside by the bar as i couldnt find the damn washroom and it was freaking packed! a not so auspicious moment for me there. she finally let out at a nearby cheap ass hotel. went in to Thai, upstairs. pole dancers, bengs, lians & weird people. i felt out of place for God's sake!! another shit happened there. we were literally storming out of the club... only after my sis had 2 tequila shots by herself! hmmmph! then, we were downstairs.

i was pissed... pissed off by someone! not happy!

couldnt give a fuck and left for A&W PJ. that put a smile on my face. niceeeeeeeeeee...! headed home after that. overall, it was good... for the beginning and the ending... well, i guess shit does happen and all good things come to an end.

those were the last sound i heard before getting out of the car and see the damages. yup, i was involved in an accident today... at 5.15pm, on the LDP just outside Mutiara D'sara. my car was bad... both headlamps, bumper, grill, radiator & bonnet all a gonner! the story was...
i was from Cyberjaya with Emma & Jo Ann. the plan was to go Cineleisure to watch 300 with Jo Ann as promised as she hasnt watch it. while driving at around 60-70km/h on the slow lane right after the Penchala Link exit on LDP... the front car was somehow stalled... he had jam the brakes so not to hit the front car. and me... seeing no brake lights... thought all was smooth... saw it late... and..... u conclude it.
basically, i hit the car infront of me and the front car hit the car in front of him. it was a threesome. the first car was a Singaporean Vios, a Citroen and then me. well, at first the Vios already jammed his brakes as the car in front of him suddenly went slow, assuming he missed the turning to go Penchala Link. and if i remembered correctly, it was a taxi... according to the Singaporean. well, one conclusion... police report. so we agreed to do it the next day around 9am at PJ HQ. before that, we went off to the Uptown police station and was told that we are suppose to go PJ.
so, with my broken radiator... i drove to Conrad's apartment at D'sara Perdana to park it there as the girls really wanted me to go... and not to go home first. parked it there... and off to the Curve for dinner. had pancakes at Paddington's House of Pancakes. it was awesome... and freaking filling!! woahhhh! im sure you must be surprise that i still had the appetite to eat after a major accident huh? hehehe. well, they just wanted me to not think about the whole incident. whilst having dinner, Dylan, the Singaporean called me and told me to report at the police station now at PJ as the Inspector wouldnt be around for the next 3 days. so, off i went to settle the police report after dinner.
girls, Emma & Jo Ann, also Conrad... thanks a bunch for everything. for your support, encouragement and help. Emma, hope u still not that dizzy till now after hitting your head on the front head rest. Jo Ann, hopefully you are alrite too.... one of these days we go for an X-ray test OK? hehehe. also thanks to Jo Ann's grandma. now u wonder how the granny knows rite? Jo Ann told her to buy 4D for my car number!! hahahahahaah!
well, as i typed this, the 3 of them are enjoying 300 in the cinemas now. hahaha! enjoy!
for those whom are worried, im doing pretty fine. will be staying at Cyber this week as my car is outta service. just have a little ache on the back of my neck... prolly the spine from the impact. other than that.. im A-O-K!

Black Tie Invited

it was 10th of March, 2007. located at Shook! Restaurant in Starhill. the dresscode was Black Tie Invited. the reason behind all these?...

DUNHILL FINE CUT LAUNCH

yup, it was a glamorous and stylish event that i attended. my first Black Tie Invited event too. well, it was all thanks to Kay.... whom got me the invite. besides, Emma, Achaap, Nick, Conrad, Zul, Jack & Russell was there too. it was happening! i arrived there with Kay, as i parked my car at his place, Pantai Hillpark. we were the first amongst our friends to arrive. so.... we parked VALET... as it was FREE for the invited guests only. so, with me blazer & tie, looking all sharp and smart... we waited for our friends to arrive. *pbbbttt* Kay's friends arrived first... then Jack & Zul came. damn Zul... u damn MOB BOSS... all intact including those suspenders eh?? haha.

so this is the story... im the invited guest of Kay, as he is the guest la. it was so wrong when the girl kept on saying "Oh, this is your partner issit?", "We need your partner to fill this up"... URGHHH!! wat the hell? partner? say la GUEST... lol. *uncomfy*

so, i went on in first with Kay... signed up, filled up, bla bla bla processes and im finally in! woahhh... the crowd was magnifique! the girls... i mean LADIES were gorgeous!! goodness gracious for Lord's sake! haha! then Zul came up with the 2 second look thingy. you get to look for 2 seconds and its enough... after 2 seconds... switch your direction...another one.!! hahaha! the Red Bimmer gang came late... AS USUAL... so they joined us later. it was like the first time all of us are hanging out together and dressed UP... looking smart and gorgeous... leaving behind our shorts, slippers and t-shirts look in college! hahaha.

there were so many people there! it was so packed! like a club!! just that there were many penguins instead of chickens! hahaha! we stood at the right place i say... near the kitchen where the waiters come out from... before they can go further... we would grabbed everything they have! hahaha!

so... they served champagne, red & white wine, juices, etc... food were pretty disappointing as it was only finger food being served. no free ciggies as thought... BUT at least they were selling the Fine Cut Range at the normal store price... not over priced!

as a conclusion... the whole night was all about booze, eating and talking shit! aside from the fashion show that i only remembered the models walking around with the watch Gerard Peraguet (if that is how u spell it!) and funky hairdos... which i strongly agree with Emma that they had ciggie boxes inside the hair! it was squarish for God's sake! LoL!

we proceeded to Luna Bar after the launch and had more drinks there. Pina Colada was sponsored by Emma... also had 2 tequila shots! *phew* crazy night that had so much cock talking that i dont really remember much! haha! was tipsy!!!! ohhh, Jack was feeling well too... had too much to drink there mate? hehe. chill... everybody dog has its day!

night ended with Emma, Nick, Achaap, Conrad and me finding ourselves in Asia Cafe! and yeah, i finally played foosball when im tipsy!!! dammit... slow vision and bad focus!! dont even know where the ball is!! cant even shoot properly!! hahaha! played pool too... instead of shooting the Cue ball.. i shot the yellow 1 ball!! wtfffff!! hahahaha!

finally, got home around 5 am and went to bed straight! what a night to remember i say!...

it was a cuci mata night for the guys im sure! every single direction that you look at... a gorgeous senorita would be there... giving glimpses and showing shyness. sadly, no phone numbers... but it was a night to remember. next Dunhill event... I WANT IN! here me ppl... i want in!! hahaha! again... thanks Kay!... and also to all those that came and had fun. we should do this more often... getting dressed up!!... like a penguin! LoL!

P E N G U I N S U I T S . . .

300

watched 300 yesterday... a sneak preview sponsored by Hitz.fm and Channel[v]. my verdict?... the movie was "COOL". no other ways to say it... just cool. this is simply because 300 was based on a graphic novel by Frank Miller and thats why. storyline was there... but i wasnt really looking forward to the storyline... like a comic... we would just want to see pictures... not read. (for me la). therefore, the storyline was just an "extra" and the fighting scenes were the BOMB!

blood was splashing from all directions, King Leonidas would have a sore throat after every scene as he was literally screaming 3/4 of the movie, 2 heads and 1 arm were dismembered (maybe there were more i didnt noticed) and the Chinese would be proud of the Spartans Great Wall of Persian Corpses!!

"PREPARE FOR GLORY!!"

besides having weird creatures, elephants, rhinos, etc... i believe no animals were harmed during the shooting of the movie.

a little inside about the production of 300; it took them almost 60 DAYS to shoot all the scenes and almost 1 year to complete the post-production. if im not mistaken, the whole movie was shot with a green / blue screen behind. the graphics, 3D, animations were fantastic! to me, it was the highlight of the movie! definitely! everything and every single detail were blended in so farking well that it looked so darn real!! brilliant... no wonder post-production took nearly a year to be completed!


but i noticed a slight mistake at the end of the movie....as Dilios was walking away from the Queen and her son, he walking past the sun... looks normal but look closely... his head was not dark as the sun shine on his right side of his face.... but only got dark later as his head leaves the sun. spot on? u tell me aight?? might be my blurry eyes catchin up on me. lol...

"...FOR WE SHALL DINE IN HELL TONIGHT...!!"

well, for all u girls who fancies men with an 8 pack stomach and Manhunt.... this is your movie! lol! not forgetting running and fighting in their undies and capes. not forgetting the men too... you guys can check out sexy & seductive dancing by girls in thin cloths, kissing girls (censored) and nips. hahaha!

so, catch the movie, which opens tomorrow, 8th March nationwide. it is worth the money... although i didnt pay for mine! hahaha! for those "merciless killings" fanatics... this one is for you! for historians... issit for real?!?! 300 against a million?? for design students... watch and learn and imply!!

as i ponder...

so... ever thought about what is so great about blogging?? i was wondering about it myself. and in the end... came out with a couple of conclusions. why do people blog? issit an alternative way to express your feelings when you dont have anybody to turn to?.... and let the whole world know bout it?? the former might be the main reason... the latter is the advantage i guess.
most of us would just write just about anything we can think of.... like mainly about our feelings... what we have done lately, what happened in the world yesterday, what are the latest gossips in the entertainment industry, etc...

posting pictures in blogs seems so yesterday. now there are other community sites such as Multiply, Ringo and Friendster around... pictures can be posted up anytime without hassle. videos too.

with all these shits... what would be the conclusion? would it be a good thing to blog? dont ya think that blogging is such as personal thingy? its basically like sharing your thoughts to the whole wide world... but actually you thought it would be only viewed by friends and foes. so, if a friend reads it... everything is all cool. but if a foe reads it... everything is sweet? well, i still think that for those who have blogs... they are not afraid of letting out their conscience to do the talking. i mean, seriously, who gives a fark about what other people think of you right? we are who we are... live with it if you like it, if you dont... just shhhhhhsshhhhh!

alternatively, blogging is similar to your personal website. just that it is free. correct? you can do whatever you want to it; decorate it, design it, etc... so, be proud people... all of you whom have a blog... have your own PERSONAL website!!

what about blog readers? are they assumed as nosy, KPC people? or are they just concern? hah! sounds funny already. so this people reads the blog... and if something tickles their sad mind.... gossips start flying through the sky, making Superman look particularly small. on the opposite side... these people will be very caring from all sides of the octagon. they will start asking you questions from the 5 Wives and 1 Husband thingy they thought at school.

as a conclusion... what can we say about bloggers and blog readers? personally, as a blogger, i would cement down anything that is interesting, obvious and oblivious. like i said, its a personal thing. also, as a blog reader... simple, feeling curious and nosy at the same time. but gossiping just aint my cup of tea. till next time... blog on!... and read on!

besides classes... i have nothing much to do. basically, i have been hanging out at Inked a lot lately. the 3 stooges that are always there... Benny the artist (obviously), Shaza the apprentice (duh-oh) and Shawn. Shawn is another bummer there. LoL. its just so nice to lepak and chill there. listening to the sound of the buzzin' machine... hoping for chiqs to come in for a tatt, playing pool at the chill out room, chit chatting with the rest. its quite fun as i get to meet new friends and people! well, long live Inked!!

LoL. was lepakking at Inked at night and then went for yum cha with Reen, Simi & Amliy. went to ss19 mamak... nothing much. somehow, it was quite a tense night at the mamak. fingers pointing every direction. i guess we were pretty screwed up with our lives. well, im enjoying life; Reen has her own life to deal with; Simi has hers to deal with too; and Amliy is the same.

dont you think that sometimes its hard to please everybody? in a way that they will not be upset or unhappy with something or the current situation they are in now. people will have their own thoughts, ideas and assumptions. when they ask for advice, we as friends will try our best. it sucks when they dont really listen and put you down directly. take note... at least we tried... and the sad part... we failed. well... get up and try again!
advising a friend shows how much we care for them. it comes it lotsa forms... may it be a joke, a thought, a straightforward answer, a direct blow below the belt and what nots. i guess maybe we should be ready and able to take everything people say to us. sometimes it will hurt... sometimes it will soothe, but most of the time... it is true.
i guess everybody will have their ups and downs in life and in everyday actions. as for me.. i would just take anything and everything said or did to me with an open heart. it hurts, but it will heal; it helps, but it will take time. open up my dear friends... who knows something good might just come your way. let me see those loving hearts spread all over this sicken world.

so, the whole process lasted for around 2 hours++. i actually managed to time everything out. the outline was around 45mins, colouring of the left side was also around 45 mins and also another 45 mins for the right side. the first time the needle poked through me... it was a little pain... and then more pain... and i was more or less used to the whole pain thingy process. the outline was kind alrite... colouring was pain... but the worst of them all was when the needle strikes through on your spine / backbone. wooooooohoooooooo! *squirm*twitch*
coincidently, i bumped into Gi at the mamak downstairs and i told him bout the shop... and so he came by while i was being tattooed. then Amliy, Simi and Yan came by, also AJ... big group of ppl was there la! was havocking at the end! hehe.

it was an amazing experience for me.. finally done tattoos after piercings are enough for me. haha. actually... i still need to pierce my tragus... my last piercing assignment. lol. i kinda enjoyed this whole tattooing experience that i may even get another one! haha. before i get too excited... need to save more money to get my Maori Tattoo in either NZ or OZ when im there. thats my ultimate dream. hehe. sponsors??? donations?? come onn....

Jo Ann also did her tattoo the same time n place as me. she did it first... and she was SOOO animated!! hahahah! all in all... she really looked like she had a torrid time with the needle. just thank God that she managed to go through it! hahaha! glad and happy for you girl! oh btw, she did a "cross" tattoo, designed by me... with her initials 'J' and 'A' on both each side of the cross.

Saturday

got to know that i have to pick my grandma from Johor at KL Sentral just after i woke up. so, OK. i've got no probbie with that. so my dad told me the train is arriving at 3.45pm... and i arrived there at 3.30pm. very good timing i guess. arrived, looked at the notice board on arrivals, it was found stated that the arrival will be at 4.50pm! it was delayed... at first i didnt believe it so i checked with the officers... and yes... it was true! sigh....

what am i to do?!?!...

first and foremost, walked around KL Sentral... boring! tried to buy a magazine to kill time... T3. cause there were really nohting else to buy! bought coca cola to avoid dehydration. sat outside, smoke while i read the magazine. left cause was too annoyed by the ppl around me... farking annoying and noisy. and also thought to myself, "i cant be sitting outside here for an hour or so right?!?!". decided to go Starbucks... bought a drink (Tall) and took more mags to read. (Expatriate Lifestyle, MYC! and my T3). then came a guy, so familiar that i seen him somewhere... bald, shiny bald!... dressed in all white... *snap* it was Harith Iskandar! alone, with 2 drinks and some bills (Celcom bills to be precise; sorry, i TER-nampak!) so i carried on with my reading... for a bout 10 mins later, came this hotty... walking towards Starbucks... first thought; must be Harith's friend.... INDEED! they chatted for like 5 mins and both went off. and i followed suit... like 5 mins later... it was almost 4.30pm. train arrived on time... not bad i say... saw grandma... took her luggage, bought her ticket, boarded the Komuter, drove her home and tadaaaaaaa... my Saturday!

also... congrats Liverpool-ians for their impressive 2-0 win against the depleting Chelski.

had a family luncheon at Overseas Restaurant in KL. coincidently, there was a wedding reception. was pretty busy and packed! me, bro, dad, mom, granny was there. minnie's side also had full attendance. food was alrite... not bad i say. loads of food too! bloated and nearly fell down the stairs like a bouncing gym ball.

headed home after lunch and i went out to Plaza Alam Sentral to meet Amy. she was working there... selling tickets to a concert... featuring Malay artists... sponsored by Digi. she sits there for 8 hours and i was there for like 30 mins and i was farking bored!! how the hell she can just sit there the whole day! and today's sale... 3 goddamm tickets!! *GOSH*turns head to the left* took her back and went home for bakuteh dinner. oh ya... me bought the Ankle Guard already! finally managed to find it at Al-Ikhsan. *phew* say no more to sore ankles.

so, what would it be tonight at the Emirates Theatre of Dreams?? Man Utd to shoot the Gunners or the Gunners will backfire themselves??
