Saturday

got to know that i have to pick my grandma from Johor at KL Sentral just after i woke up. so, OK. i've got no probbie with that. so my dad told me the train is arriving at 3.45pm... and i arrived there at 3.30pm. very good timing i guess. arrived, looked at the notice board on arrivals, it was found stated that the arrival will be at 4.50pm! it was delayed... at first i didnt believe it so i checked with the officers... and yes... it was true! sigh....

what am i to do?!?!...

first and foremost, walked around KL Sentral... boring! tried to buy a magazine to kill time... T3. cause there were really nohting else to buy! bought coca cola to avoid dehydration. sat outside, smoke while i read the magazine. left cause was too annoyed by the ppl around me... farking annoying and noisy. and also thought to myself, "i cant be sitting outside here for an hour or so right?!?!". decided to go Starbucks... bought a drink (Tall) and took more mags to read. (Expatriate Lifestyle, MYC! and my T3). then came a guy, so familiar that i seen him somewhere... bald, shiny bald!... dressed in all white... *snap* it was Harith Iskandar! alone, with 2 drinks and some bills (Celcom bills to be precise; sorry, i TER-nampak!) so i carried on with my reading... for a bout 10 mins later, came this hotty... walking towards Starbucks... first thought; must be Harith's friend.... INDEED! they chatted for like 5 mins and both went off. and i followed suit... like 5 mins later... it was almost 4.30pm. train arrived on time... not bad i say... saw grandma... took her luggage, bought her ticket, boarded the Komuter, drove her home and tadaaaaaaa... my Saturday!

also... congrats Liverpool-ians for their impressive 2-0 win against the depleting Chelski.

had a family luncheon at Overseas Restaurant in KL. coincidently, there was a wedding reception. was pretty busy and packed! me, bro, dad, mom, granny was there. minnie's side also had full attendance. food was alrite... not bad i say. loads of food too! bloated and nearly fell down the stairs like a bouncing gym ball.

headed home after lunch and i went out to Plaza Alam Sentral to meet Amy. she was working there... selling tickets to a concert... featuring Malay artists... sponsored by Digi. she sits there for 8 hours and i was there for like 30 mins and i was farking bored!! how the hell she can just sit there the whole day! and today's sale... 3 goddamm tickets!! *GOSH*turns head to the left* took her back and went home for bakuteh dinner. oh ya... me bought the Ankle Guard already! finally managed to find it at Al-Ikhsan. *phew* say no more to sore ankles.

so, what would it be tonight at the Emirates Theatre of Dreams?? Man Utd to shoot the Gunners or the Gunners will backfire themselves??

W E E K E N D E D

back to skool

yesterday, Monday, was registration day for us students. i was actually planning to go around 10 am... but no... smart ass me woke up at 10am! also, would like to thank Reen cause it was her message that woke me up. if not... i dont know... hehe.

arrived in college, registered and the next thing i to be done is to pay for my fees at the bursary. so, i met up with Jack and Derek and i found out from them that the bursary is doing a "bank system" queue thingy; taking NUMBERS! fine, i went up and the number that i got was 261, and Jack's number... 116!! blardy hell!! its like a 150 more ppl before me!! this is sucky. so, to calm things down, we went for lunch at Ericsson. Jack, Derek, me, Zul and his friends. we had a 1 hour and a half lunch and i got back to college. took a leak and checked the bursary... thank God it was close, waited for another 5 mins and i was good to go. but before that... my good friend Reen just arrived. boyfriend was supposed to pick her up but he was sleeping... LoL! so she was alone... met up with her, she registered, she didnt pay, we sat for a while at the plaza and went to Streetmall cause she wanted to munch. ordered rojak at Penang House and makan and chatted. left when it was drizzling, but just before we reached the car... BAM! downpour!! WET!! all WET!! best part >>> Reen just sent her car for washing before we ate. LoL! tough one girl! it was raining heavily and this dear friend of mine didnt want to drive under such attrocious conditions (she was suppose to goto her boyfriend's house at Bangi), she decided to just hang out at college with me first. thankfully she had her laptop with her. we started going online. showed me some of her photography works... fabulous babe! its nice. well, had to give it to her cause shes majoring in Photography. hahahaha! rained mellowed down and we decided to leave, and i got her to drop me at my car... outside college. hehe.

played futsal at night and it was alrite... actually, great! LoL. had loads of fun somehow. scored a screamer (perasan!)... imagine this... floating ball, right leg volley, bottom left corner of the goal. muacks! hahahah! that goal certainly psyched me up! played 2 hours as well. the previous week, i played futsal 3 times in a week, a total of 4 hours! its like a record for me! never played 3 times a week before! it was nutty amazing! (nutty amazing?!?!?! wtf...)

met up wif Amliy after futsal. went to a&w for my dinner. poor girl got pick-pocketed. RM30 gone. just not your day huh? know wat, shit happpens! just forget bout it and move on ya! hehehe.

nowadays, im really digging the TV show Miami Ink. im sure all you tattoo enthusiasts will know the show. well, there are 5 of them... the Boss, Ami James, Chris Nunez, Chris Garver, Kat Von D, Darren Brass & the apprentice, Yojiro Harada. i tell you, this buggers are professionals!! their works are fantastic!! farking awesome! i know its a longshot to get tattooed by them, but i guess now i'll just stick to me friend, Benny of "INKED". LoL! Emma, if you are reading this, stop laughing! all of them have their own secret weapon... ok ok... their own specialties. currently on astro Ch 11, every Sunday night at 11, they are showing the best of each artists. season 2 will be out soon. cant wait for that now. hehe.
since we are on the topic of tattoos, i will be getting mine early feb or late jan. its gonna be a tribal design by yours truly plus my surname in mandarin. gonna be about 6 inches long on my back, near the shoulder blades. so wish me luck! LoL.

yup, the brand new year is here... free for all...

firstly, let me wish you guys a very belated New Year!! yes yes, im still stuck with Dial-Up at home... and will be for the next 6 months... i guess. so, the only few places that i can use wi-fi without paying is Uni, Amliy's & Jo Ann's. Starbucks on average charges me around RM10... for a freaking drink to use the wi-fi. its alrite pending how many times i go there.

lets recap what i did for New Year's... *blurry vision, dreamy face*
Jolene, Amliy, Reen, Ina and me went to The Curve. we were late, traffic was a bitch, and walking for 15mins somehow wasnt that tiring. as we were like 30 seconds to The Curve, the clock struck MIDNIGHT! fireworks started shooting up the sky. the best part was, we were just UNDER the fireworks! it was a sight to behold. it was gorgeous, fantastic, beautiful, superb, colorful, breath-taking...!! bits of carbon and whatever it is in the fireworks started falling from the sky like raining stones (forgot what it is called). >>> the best part.
then, Jolene went missing, Ina left and it was only the 3 of us. so we started walking towards the Curve, Ikea, Ikano and ended up at 7-11. bought a few drinks and just sat outside Maybank chit chatting, gossiping and pondering at the past year. DULL! LoL! >>> the sad part.
AJ, Reen's fiance (now) picked us up and dropped Amliy and I to my car. besides getting stuck in the jam for almost an hour for no apparent reason... we reached the Shell station near Kota Damansara. yup, I parked that FAR!! >>> the stupid part.
before going to the Curve, i had a mini BBQ at home, with dad, bro, sis-in-law, vincent & gf. my smart bro bought "Old Chicken", whereby when we bbq it, it was like biting on plastic!! GOSH! and then i thought my dad bought a chicken drumstick that was really huge from Turkey! but it was my stupidity that overwhelmed me... it was a TURKEY; drumstick!! dumbass!! felt stupid!!
that was all about New Year... =O)

speaking of being stupid... i was helping out Jo Ann with her new wireless router. we reset the router a couple of times because i couldnt figure out was the heck was the problem. everything i did was perfect and correct! so i gave up and went to the shop in Subang Parade. guess what was the problem... i didnt complete the username with a "@streamyx"!!! oh what the hell!! felt even more stupid!!

its semester break for almost 2 months (though im not happy cause it was suppose to be 3 months)... and i can summarize one thing... i have been going out every night!! may it be just to lepak, chill, yum cha, dinner, clubbing... in a way, i dont feel right. spending money like running water too! that sucks!! recently, was at the MET 10 awards with Jo Ann, Kay and Jolene. had 3 tequilla shots (which by the way was pretty reasonable, priced at RM17/each).... money gone down to my liver... this saturday would be Michelle's birthday celebration in Seremban. money gone down to my liver, again! chilling at starbux just for the internet.... money down to my liver, again and again...! dammmitt.... im WHINY!! LoL!

Christmas is approaching fast. presents presents presents to buy. headache! so who deserves to get a present for Chirstmas... time to get my list out... so you think you have been a good boy / girl... let me know. i shall analyze and conclude. =O)

also recently, i went for a job interview at SIL, pretty near my old office at VIBES. didnt get what i wanted as Kelvin from VIBES gave SIL my number cause they wanted freelancers. during the interview, i showed my work and he said he wanted freelancers from January onwards... dangg it! anyway, he told me to find him as soon as i graduate. hmmm... good news? bad news? judge me!... =O)

i cant believe i'll be missing the Paris trip because of nothing. at first, there was something... and then... NOTHING! college said that internship was compulsory... and then... it wasnt!! pathetic!! and until today, college didnt call me for any interviews when i said it was ok if it wasnt compulsory. wtf!! and because of all these, i told my mom to postpone the Paris trip... arghhhhh!!! *wooooosahhhhhhh*

friends on the other hand... lets start with Amy. her engagement is OFF. sad but true. some shit happened between her and her bf and its a goner now. shes doing fine i guess... ups and downs. i guess shes more worried about her semester more than anythign else. you go girl!!
Emma is currently working now at her brother's company. good fer her! glad and happy. can still enjoy too... going to islands with her friends. oh man... 6 chiqs on the beach... in bikinis! LoL! what a sight to behold of. hehehe.

i also went for A1 Grand Prix with Kay. it was 2 years in a row for me and the first time for Kay. it was cool. took lotsa pics and vids too. both of us saw the damages of a front wing probably belonging to team Aussie on the gravel, held by a Marshall. i wanted it but hey, as if we can get it la. next thing i notice, a father and son was holding that very same front wing i saw. WTF!! arent they supposed to recycle it since it is carbon fiber?!?!?! mahal ohhhhhh!! big L on the forehead! *sigh*

i guess life is pretty alright with me now. kinda trying to enjoy it as much as i can before the new semester starts. and so... till i return... cheerio!!

my bachelorhood living days are numbered... yup! i will not be staying in my bachelor home anymore starting from next month. say goodbye to my cyber home, D-8-A. housemates are all going their own direction and ditto. furthermore, next semester will only take up 2 days of classes a week... and i guess i will be travelling up and down. no more late nights hanging out at my second home, E-25-A.... watching TV, playing PS, chilling with me friends, staying up all night doing work... well, i guess a change is good. who knows... there are always pros and cons.

hillarious *full stop*

on thursday, 7th September, i had a great time. maybe i can put it as fantastic... or it should be fabulous... OK, watever it is, it was hillarious! Nik, Ira, Jo Ann and me headed to The Actor's Studio in Bangsar SHopping Center and watched the ever-so-good ACTORLYMPICS! as far as i know, it was I and Jo Ann's frist time there. no wait, i been there, Jo Ann's the noob. but it was still our first time watching the ACTORLYMPICS. our seats were not bad as well, knowing that we got it for student price; it was RIGHT in front of the stage, 3rd row to be exact. the actors were Afdlin Shauki, Douglas Lim, Joanna Bessey, Reza Salleh and also Razif (no idea how it spells and who is he). ACTORLYMPICS is an improvised version of Drew Carey's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" those familiar with Whose Line will definitely know the excitement it holds. not only it is an improvised show, it is MADE IN MALAYSIA! they had quite a number of games, namely FREEZE.. and... shit, i dont remember the rest! anyway, the whole show was strictly 18PL, it should be. it is more to an adult entertainment (minus porn adn strippers). this show is definitely an eye opener about current events and also to theatre enthusiasts. next stop... The Chilli Boy wait for my review then. and before anything, check out my version of FAQ on this show.



how does this whole show work?
basically, the audience will be asked for anything to start the games/shows. e.g. a situation, a place, a name, etc... all these info will be collected by Afdlin, the host, and then the actors are suppose to act out what is asked and demanded by the audience. so basically, of the show sucks, its the audiences' fault! simple! its all about participation...

is it scripted?
NO silly, this show aint scripted. all jokes and words comes out straight from the top of the actors' head. not much time to think. and mostly its all about how spontaneous they can get.

who was the best actor?
i would say actorS, cause Douglas and Afdlin was the bomb! they were so spontaneous that they made Razif run out of the building!... or maybe made Nik tear for a while.

can my innocent children watch this show?
honestly, i dont feel secure having my kids watch this show. firstly, its very straightforward and the things that made us laugh is about current events. teasing and kutuk-ing. i would feel it is more for young adults and older.

what was the famous topics the audiences chose?
HAH, glad you asked these question... there were 3... and they are... "Datuk K & Siti's wedding", Mawi & Dato Samy Vellu. Steve Irwin was a brief one but it was funny... but it wasn't nice Afdlin! Rest in Peace Croc Mate.

how was the crowd?
brilliant, sporting, fantastic and funny!

is it worth the money paid for?
to me, it worth every single penny/cent. you tell me, i went back with sore and numb jaws.

as i looked back at my past, i wonder, have i done anything stupid in life that i did not regret doing it. maybe i did, but i couldnt remember, but i know i surely did it before. its just peculiar that you know that it is stupid, but u still do it. more like it is ironic. then why would i do it? well, follow your heart and listen to it. cause if you didnt do it at all... you might just feel uneasy with yourself and live in denial like forever. may it be feelings, actions or thoughts... just let it out. open yourself to everything. friends or people will surely say that you are stupid... but who will be the most satisfied one after doing it? myself... ourselves of course. so... let everything out, keeping everything inside oneself might just destroy and blow up. as long there is an understanding between both parties at times... that would be the icing on the cake. express yourself... cause life is too short to hold everything you think inside. dont bring your cravings, feelings, actions, etc into your coffin. you might just regret it for the rest of your life now and the after life. always remember that tomorrow is a day you will never know if you might see it. and because of that... do something stupid / bodoh / baka. enjoy the moments of stupidity that you wanted, not moments of stupidity when you dont want it. best of luck! =O)

it was hard earned...!

today is my final day at VIBEScomm. it was one helluva experience of working as a designer in an agency. from late nights on my very first day (till 12.30am!!) to countless jobs to be completed... it was worthwhile!... seriously. learnt a lot from these 4 days. what do clients expect, want and need. also found out how we should do our work, which involves steps that i didnt know. always thought that if a design can be done with Photoshop alone... and let it be. but no, most of the files that will be sent to printers are normally in Illustrator (.AI) files and in CMYK color mode. RGB is normally used for graphics in the Internet. well, VIBES is really interesting, with hyperactive colleagues to PowerMac G5s...! haha! got too excited that i have my own G5 to work on the jobs. haha! many thanks to my Art Director, Kelvin; Copyrighter, Andrew (so happens to be a BBian, my senior of course), Shereen (another senior from BB, she was in Form 6), Boon, Shasha, Victoria and also Shuks. thanks a bunch Shuks for giving me this opportunity, owe u one yeah! in layman's term,

the week after this, tomorrow...

starting from tomorrow, Monday, 21st August 2006, 9am... i will be working as a part timer/stand-in Graphic Designer at VibesComm, located at Bukit Damansara only for a week... why? cause their full time GD is on-leave for a week. working hours are 9am - 6pm, but i'll have to work and travel to college all at the same time, whereby my schedule is based on my college timetable. will be staying at mom's house for the whole week... that reminds me i have not told her bout this job. haha. also i will not be staying at Cyber for the whole week, no... just one day i will be at Cyber, wednesday night... cause me class is at 9 the next day. *pheww* gonna be a tiring week for me, cause of the distance i will be travelling. well, its gonna be an experience for me, working and studying at the same time. maybe i might like it, maybe i will not like it. it all depends on how are things for that 1 week. i am now just collecting my thoughts about next week. have to arrange my time so perfect that it will not affect my studies and also work.


also, next saturday i will be helping out Jo Ann with her church's slideshow... as they wiill be having a church concert... oh God, i'm gonna be so busyy!! woahhhhhhhhhhhh! probably gonna be the most challenging week in my life till date. hahaha! will i be able to cope with all these?... or will i break down. cross my legs and hope to survive. wish me luck ppl! i hope i will have time to blog... (not that i do it often nowadays too huh?) hahahaha! till then... cheerio!

a new chapter...

...a new semester, a new set of modules, a new time table and a more determine me. yup, im in my final year at LUCCT.yup, 1 more year here... and i would have another year more overseas. and by the time i graduate... i would be 26?? farking hell... LoL!

only have like 4 modules this sem... but still classes everyday. a bit more relaxed compare to last year. well, i will be aiming for a better result this sem as i have more time and was also disappointed at a few modules result. was expecting better but turned out at par. sigh... need to kick my CGPA's ass sky high!! my first class of the semester was a letdown, lecturer didnt turn up! wtf...

well, life is pretty alright with me. holidays was great. was working for R.AGE's SPirit of Melaka event. was a fun outing, but was burnt while working... yup, burnt.. red... crab.. lobster... face... Melaka is freakishly hot and humid! made a couple of new friends duringthis event. perfect for my growing circle of friends. haha! well, just a shout out to my new friends... Jason N., Jason L., Avril, Nigel, Jien Sze (i have no idea how to spell your name man), Yin Wei and another girl, sorry i forgot your name. hehe. also met a former junior at high school, Desmond. also to the staffs of D'Jungle People... you guys rock! shout out to ya'll! we shall celup more satay and slurp more cendol aightsss...! not forgetting our 2 nite chill out bar... GEOGRAPHER. Jason L... bila mau stout+beer again la??!! haha. overall, it was pure fun plus work during that weekend. =O)

Jusco Equine Park in Sri Kembangan is opened... visited that mall... its ok... nothing much to shout about... something like, IOI, SUmmit, Klang Parade. small and compact. since Jusco opened, the area around it developed so much that we have a Chinese hawker restaurant open just opposite Jusco. sweeeeeeet.... two thumbs up for PORK! yea... we have PORK right now! woo hooooo! haha!. sorry if i ter-offend any non pork consumers out there. thousand apologies. =O)
